What is Het KunstKasteel (The ArtCastle)?
| Hester Scheltens finds it important that children use their imagination and develop their creativity in a safe learning environment in Het KunstKasteel.She stimulates children to use their imagination. To make “out of the box” choices. | That is why in Het KunstKasteel you will find – in addition to commonly used craft materials – also material that is not primarily intended for tinkering. Think of bicycle inner tubes, beer caps (“Did you drink all that beer yourself?”), Corks, straws, pieces of leather, marbles, barbies, cat litter, flour and gravel. And even the hardened drops from the glue gun are still used to build walls. |
New group for more than 10 years
Sometimes children stop with Het KunstKasteel: not because they don’t like tinkering anymore, but because they feel the need to do more things with peers. That is why a new group for people over 10 is starting: on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This group will meet every other week, starting on Monday, September 11. Read more>>
